Signups for July’s SakeSwap now open!

I’d just like to thank everyone who participated in our first SakeSwap this month!  I’m happy to report that already almost everyone has received their bottle from a different area of Japan.  Just a friendly reminder, don’t forget to write a small paragraph or two about the sake you sent.  You can email it to [...]

Miscellaneous Debris

  • Only two days left to sign up for July's SakeSwap!
  • All fixed! The Twitter Group page isn't working right now for some reason. Tweetizen recently updated their login procedure, and I'm getting an error when I try to login, so that probably is the cause of the problem. I'll try to fix it during the week!
  • Don't forget to update your bookmarks, the new URL is http://sakeswap.com!
  • Added a "Featured Link" section to the website, to showcase great sake-related websites!  If you're already on the link list expect to see your site featured soon.  Not on the link list?  Click the bubble and leave me a comment to get added!
  • As you can see the new website is up and running. Please leave a comment if you have any suggestions to improve the site!

Welcome to SakeSwap

ochokoSake is produced in virtually every part of this country, each with their own unique characteristics. And while everyone has their own favourite brands, I’m sure we are all on the lookout for new and different varieties. Since sake production and distribution can be very localized, I thought this would be a great way to share some of our local delicacies with other sake lovers!
