The crown jewel of the Roppongi Hills urban development, this 54-story skyscraper rises up above the waste and detritus that roam the entertainment district’s streets at night. The building itself, as well as the district it’s located in, has had its fair share of incidents over time.

I just love the warmth that these lamps gave off. I also love my Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 lens, which allows me to take great low-light photos.

Perhaps the most iconic in Sendai, this statue stands between massive rows of zelkova trees which are lit up in celebration of December’s Starlight Pageant on Jozenji Avenue.
