Lost in translation

Now, I’m not fashion guru, and I know that Japanese fashion can be a little wacky sometimes, and I know that the message can get a little muddled up when converting from English to ‘Engrish’, but this example is one of the strangest I’ve encountered so far. I didn’t get to see the front of the shirt, but I’m assuming it either had a giant cock or vagina on it, possibly both.
Here’s my festival itinerary for July/August:
July 28th: Fireworks at Selion Tower
August 2nd: Nebuta at Aomori City
August 3rd: Neputa at Hirosaki
August 4th: Kanto at Akita City
August 6th – 10th: Tokyo!
August 25th: National Fireworks Competition at Omagari
In website news, I think most of the bugs are worked out now. The site is designed to be viewed with Firefox with a minimum resolution width of 1200px. Internet Explorer doesn’t parse the archives properly, so there will be an extra scrollbar there. I’ve also disabled the comments for the time being; perhaps I’ll add some other type of feedback area instead.
